Privacy Policy

Published by Relationale LLC. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, what we don't, and how the small amount of information needed to run StudyTimerPRO is handled. It forms part of the wider Learning & Productivity Trust Center.

Information We Collect

StudyTimerPRO is designed to work without accounts, sign-ups, or personal profiles. You can use the timer without telling us anything about yourself. The information we do receive falls into three small categories:

  • Locally-stored preferences. Settings such as your selected preset, streaks, daily goal, theme, and session history are stored in your browser via localStorage. They never leave your device and we cannot read them.
  • Standard request data. Like every website, our servers receive basic technical information when you visit: IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamps. This is used for security, abuse prevention, and aggregate traffic measurement.
  • Optional contact information. If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to share in that message.

We do not ask for your name, sell user data, or build profiles about individual visitors.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

StudyTimerPRO uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies for three purposes: making the timer remember your preferences, measuring anonymous traffic, and serving advertising. You can clear these at any time from your browser settings.

  • Essential storage. Used to remember your theme, presets, streaks, and goals. Without this, the app cannot function as intended.
  • Analytics cookies. Help us understand which pages are useful and where the experience can be improved.
  • Advertising cookies. Used by Google AdSense and its partners to display and measure advertisements.

Google AdSense

StudyTimerPRO is supported by advertising delivered through Google AdSense. Google and its certified partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. This allows Google and its partners to show personalized advertising.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendor use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

Analytics Services

We use privacy-respecting analytics — primarily Google Analytics and, where helpful for understanding user experience issues, Microsoft Clarity — to measure aggregate traffic, page performance, and broad usage patterns. These services may set cookies and process anonymized usage data on our behalf. We do not use analytics to identify individual visitors.

Affiliate Disclosure

Some links on StudyTimerPRO — particularly in the “Recommended tools” section — may be affiliate links. If you click through and purchase a product, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend tools we believe genuinely help focus and study.

Our content occasionally links to external websites for reference. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or accuracy of any third-party sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before sharing information with them.

Data Protection

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited information we process. Because we do not store personal accounts, the practical scope of risk is small — but we still treat operational data with care.

User Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA: the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing. Since we don’t maintain user accounts, most of these rights can be exercised directly by clearing your browser data. For anything else, email support@StudyTimerPRO.com.

Children’s Privacy

StudyTimerPRO is intended for a general audience, including students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices, services, or applicable law. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on the homepage.
