Our commitment
StudyTimerPRO is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience. We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and treat accessibility as a core product quality, not an afterthought.
What we support today
- Keyboard navigation — every interactive element can be reached and operated without a mouse.
- Screen readers — semantic HTML, ARIA labels on icon-only controls, and meaningful landmarks for VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS, and TalkBack.
- Focus indicators — visible focus rings on every focusable element.
- Color contrast — text and UI meet or exceed WCAG AA contrast ratios in both light and dark modes.
- Reduced motion — animations respect the
prefers-reduced-motionsystem setting. - Touch targets — interactive areas are at least 44×44 pixels on mobile.
- Resizable text — content reflows cleanly up to 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
- Captions — our ambient sounds are optional and labelled; no critical information is conveyed through sound alone.
Ongoing improvement
We test new features with keyboard-only navigation and screen readers before release, run automated accessibility scans on every deploy, and conduct regular manual reviews. When we fall short of WCAG 2.1 AA in any area, we treat it as a bug and prioritise the fix.
Known limitations
We strive for full compliance, but a few areas are under active improvement:
- Some third-party advertising units may not meet our accessibility standards. We work with our ad partners to improve this.
- Embedded media from third-party platforms inherits their accessibility features and limitations.
Assistive technology compatibility
StudyTimerPRO is tested against the latest versions of:
- VoiceOver on macOS (Safari) and iOS
- NVDA on Windows (Firefox, Chrome)
- TalkBack on Android (Chrome)
- Recent Chromium, Firefox, Safari, and Edge releases
Report an accessibility issue
If you encounter a barrier on StudyTimerPRO, we want to know. Please email support@StudyTimerPRO.com with:
- The page URL where the issue occurred
- A short description of what went wrong
- Your operating system, browser, and assistive technology (if applicable)
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days and to ship fixes for high-impact issues within ten business days. You can also use our contact page for general questions.
